Collegium Ducale: Vivaldi and Baroque

The Orchestra Collegium Ducale presents a programme of baroque music in the heart of Venice.

From January to August 2010 and in December it takes place in the remarkable atmosphere of Palazzo delle Prigioni, directly at Piazza San Marco. Concerts from the end of August to November 2010 take place in the church "Chiesa di S.Maria Formosa", Rialto.

The Palazzo delle Prigioni, or prisoners' palace, is located adjacent to the famed Doge' Palace, connected by the poetic Bridge of Sighs. The concert programme includes Vivaldi's most famous and beloved orchestral work, The Four Seasons.

Experience the uplifting music of Antonio Vivaldi in the city that inspired him!
